Music Videos

Music videos are our passion. We love music videos and we love making them. Something truly amazing happens when you combine music and picture, you get a product greater than the sum of its parts. It’s a 1+1=3 situation. To us, it’s a highly underrated art form, one that has yet to really see it given the respect it deserves.

As with commercials, it doesn’t take a million dollars to make a great video. Spike Jonze shot Fatboy Slim’s "Praise You" video by pointing a camcorder at a group of people dancing on the sidewalk and it won awards. It’s that kind of thinking that we employ here at Night and Day. We understand that money is tight with most bands; that’s why we work to give the most imaginative, eye catching video possible for the amount available. You might be surprised.

One Cigarette
Set to the song "Sadder Days" by Farmer Brown, this video was shot in the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens in constant 100+ degree weather. It tells the story of a man haunted by the ghosts of his late fiancée in the course of smoking one cigarette. Shot on 16mm film, the end result is highly conceptual, strikingly visual, and a moving dramatic piece.
